About Less Is a New More
Hi, I’m Ally — a content creator and digital nomad who’s been living out of a suitcase (and a carefully edited wardrobe) for the past several years.
This site started from a personal frustration.
Every time I moved to a new city, I had to make decisions about what to keep, what to buy, and what was actually worth the space it takes up. I got tired of buying cheap organizers that broke in six months or spending hours on Amazon trying to figure out which product was actually good versus just well-marketed.
So I started doing the research myself (properly). Reading reviews, comparing specs, and checking what people actually said after owning something for a year. And eventually, I figured I might as well share it.
Less Is a New More is a home organization blog for people who want to buy less, but better.
Every product featured here is something I’ve genuinely researched. I focus on items that are built to last, practical over trendy, and worth the money, whether that’s a $15 pantry bin or a $400 standing desk.
The goal is always the same: help you make one good decision instead of three bad ones.
A note on how this site works
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means if you click through and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you). This is how the site stays running. I only recommend products I’d genuinely consider buying myself, and affiliate relationships never influence which products make the cut.
